Eric Grayfox. In our lives until November 3, 2015. A long time Shire member, Eric was well known as an archer and a member of the St. Sebastian's. He was also making a name for himself as a blacksmith both in the SCA and outside of it with many local blacksmith groups. He loved to teach his craft and many have listened to his words. Sleep well, our Friend...may Vulcan welcome you to his Smithy.

Grania O'Mora...in our lives until December 8, 2015. Grania started in Gate'sedge very early on attending the first newcomer's household in 1991. She went by Patricia of Gate'sedge at that time. Even then she was interested in weaving. The hanger that the shire's seneschal key is attached to was woven by this lady. She supported the shire with her art and her service for all this time. At our 25th year event, held October 3, 2015, she was named a Guardian of the Gate. Guardians are those who have shown such support and loyalty and love for our group that we acknowledge this by making them a Guardian. And now she is gone. We will miss you, dear Grania. Until we meet again.
